The sun set below the clouds and above the horizon, creating amazing light on the face of Half Dome and the walls of Tenaya Canyon. This was an Editor's Pick in the National Geographic Photo Contest 2013 and was chosen as Photo of the Day for Smithsonian.com on 6/19/2013 and Outdoor Photographer Magazine on 1/25/2018.
